Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
Theta Tau's 40th Anniversary
Celebration will be held April 10th, 2010 in conjunction with Initiation and
Rose Dance. You should have received an invitation and we hope that you will be

March 16 Numerous brothers attended the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis
March 13 7 Brothers attended the reactivation of the Psi Chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and welcomed 51 new Brothers to our fraternity. Congratulations Psi Chapter!
March 5 Due Date: Theta Tau's Douglas Jirik Scholarship is due on March 5th. If you are interested, you can find the application and requirements here
February 12-14: Chicago/Lombard welcomed an energetic and enthusiastic group of 16 current Brothers, 3 alumni and a guest for our Provincial Leadership and Professional development conference. Highlights include:

We won the Travel Award for having traveled roughly 8,000 miles between the 16 members traveled which was the most combined distance traveled of any other Chapter in attendance
Leinenkugel's Brewery welcomed us for a spontaneous Professional Activity tour. Another stops included the Sears/Willis Tower, Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, dinner with former Major League Baseball player, Ron Kittle and Shedd Aquarium
Brother Cory Stopka was honored with his second Regional Collegian of the Year in three years during the banquet

February 7: Formal Pledging was held and we welcomed 11 new pledges.
January 29-31: Theta Tau won their second consecutive non-competitive Volleyball Championship and participated in the basketball games, but weren't able to win a game. Ziggy and the Chapter won the Spirit Award for the enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.
January 25: St. Cloud State University's magazine included a press release of the Chapter's Regional and Provincial Outstanding Professional Activities Award. You can view the article here.
