Service Trips - Spring Break Trips

Acting in Service, Justice, and Faith.  Are you looking for an alternative Winter or Spring Break?  We have different groups going to various parts of the United States. Any questions or comments feel free to call Ben Caduff at Newman 251-3260 ext 20.
Service Trip Adventures are experiences designed to:

• Raise awareness of social issues and injustices, such as poverty, racism, and envirionmental ethics.
• Encourage reflection and questioning about the role of social structures in the perpetuation of poverty , injustice, etc. 
• Move us from an awareness of social issues to an integration of justice and service into our everyday lives.
• Encourage a polycentric world view which recognizes and values diversity of culture and perspective.
• Encourage shared leadership and individual leadership in the spirit of service, as well  as appreciating and utilizing the gifts of each individual.
• Foster a sense of respect and community among the participants themselves, as well as with the people at the sites.
• Approach the trips as a partnership with the people at the site and not simply charity on our part.
• Integrate faith into the fabric of the experience.
• Have fun and meet new people!
