Underground Night
Monday, November 16th
8 PM - 12 AM in the Underground
All participants must wear their hall colored bandanas!
All games end at 11 PM, but can be extended at the discretion of the referees.
Non-competetive playing is allowed after the games have ended.
- Billiards
- Standard billiards competition. 1 vs. 1 match taking place throughout the night, using a standard tournament bracket elimination style. Brackets will be determined once each hall's list of participants have been retrieved.
- Scoring: One point for first round elimination, 2 points for second round elimination, etc. Overall winner collects double points based on number of games played.
-
- Galactic-Bowling
- Bowling with a twist! Each frame will have one predetermined bowling style (e.g between the legs, backwards, eyes closed), making for a tough and fun time!. This means 10 frames with 10 different bowling styles. The halls will each have their own lane (8 total). Each hall can have 6 bowlers in a lane at one time, so it will be at the discretion of hall level advisors to determine who gets to bowl. The halls can bowl as fast or slow as they want.
- Scoring: The winner is decided by an average of each hall's top four scores. The overall winner will receive the number of points equal to their score, minus the third digit (so a maximum of 30). All other halls will receive 1-7 points based on their place, with a base of 10; i.e. The hall in 8th place receives 11 points, while the hall in 2nd would receive 17 points, and the hall in 5 receives 15, etc.
-
- Ping-Pong (a.k.a. Oliver-Pong)
- One player from each hall, eight players in a game, cross-side table playing madness! Each side of the table starts off with 4 players lined up to play. The first person serves it to the other and immediately rotates to the other side of the table and takes up the last position on the other side's line. The person at the start of the other line returns the ball and runs to the last position of the opposite line, and the cycle continues until a player faults the ball. Standard ping-pong fault rules apply! After each fault the table resets, eliminating the faulting player. Once only two players are left, a standard ping-pong game ensues and requires a two point lead to win. A hall may substitute their final player at any time, IF the participant agrees. There will be several matches until the end of the night. This number is undecided.
- Scoring: The players receive points based on their faulting position. (e.g. The first player out receives one hall point, while the the last out will receive 8!)
-
- Foosball
- 4 vs. 4, hall vs. hall foosball competition. Hall teams of 4 will compete in the ultimate test of wits and wrist flickery.
- Scoring: 10 point matches with two point leads are required to win the game. The tournament structure is designed so that first round eliminations receive 1 point, second round eliminations receive 2 and so on and so forth...The last round participant will receive double the points based on the number of games they've played.

8 PM - 10:30 PM in the Atwood Ballroom
All participants must wear their hall bandana!
- Rules

The score from both songs will be averaged to determine overall places for BOHS points. Scores for appropriate dress during performance will be up to the judges.
