SCSU SUMO

The Society of Unified Management Organizations is a student run organization that provides opportunities for Human Resource Management, General Management and Operations Management majors through the national affiliations of APICS, SAM and SHRM .

Our mission is to expose students to all areas and aspects of management, while providing friendships, networking opportunities and educational experiences for all majors.

SUMO is a student organization at St. Cloud State University that gives everyone an opportunity to learn more about the various areas of business management.

In the Society of Unified Management Organizations, we have combined three Internationally Recognized student organizations into one convenient place, offering students national affiliation with SAM (Society for the Advancement of Management), SHRM (Society for Human Resources), and APICS (Educational Society for Resources Management).

Membership

Our Membership criteria consists of a $15 fee per semester or a $25 fee for general membership.  Active membership status, which will show up on your transcript, can be achieved through participation in meetings, social events, volunteering, and fundraising opportunities.
