Meeting Minutes

March 6, 2002

Ø Heritage Day at Crane Meadows will be Saturday, March 9. Activities will include making birdhouses and interacting with the community.

Ø Wednesday, March 20 will be our second brown-bag seminar. The speaker will be Kurt, asst. manager under Fred Bengtson. He will be talking about Snow Geese, which he did graduate work on.

Ø Scholarship applications are also due on March 20.

Ø The North central Conclave will be in Stevens Point, WI on April 4, 5, and 6.

Ø There will be another social held on Monday, March 25 at Jimmy’s Pour House from 5:00-7:00.

Ø We will be holding an annual meeting on April 17 which will include speakers and elections for board positions. A committee of five people is needed to help organize food, speakers, etc. Contact a board member if interested. Some ideas for speakers included: Brad and/or Jean from SNWR, Dr. Gunderson, Brian Dirks, someone from Dale’s list, and someone from a zoo (Pape is gathering ideas).
